OXFORD TOWNSHIP
WORKSHOP MEETING
JANUARY 16, 2007
The regular scheduled meeting of the Mayor and
Committee of the Township of Oxford was held on
January 16, 2007 in the Township Municipal Building,
11 Green Street, Oxford, New Jersey.
Mayor Lazorisak announced that the meeting had been
properly advertised in compliance with the OPMA of
1975 and called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM.
In attendance were Alex Lazorisak, Bonnie Riley,
Peter Kowalick and Sheila L. Oberly. N. Angelo
Accetturo was absent.
On motion by Mrs. Riley, seconded by Mr. Lazorisak
to approve the emergency blue light permits for the
following volunteers:
Calvin Inscho
Chelsea Calabrese
Kevin Murray
On motion by Mr. Lazorisak, seconded by Mrs. Riley
to approve the emergency red light permit for Bruce
Doyle, Assistant Fire Chief.
The PCFA 2007 Household Hazardous Waste Collection
will be held on April 22, 2007 and October 28, 2007.
This notice will be posted in the municipal building
and on the Oxford Township’s website.
On motion by Mr. Lazorisak, seconded by Mrs. Riley
to approve one free 2007 family lake pass to be
given away at the Oxford Township PTO Bingo night
held on January 19, 2007.
Mr. Lazorisak stated that the Oxford Lake sign is
broken and is in need of a new sign. Impact Signs
sent a quote for one single face sign with three
options:
Opt #1-Carved gold leafed high density urethane sign
with alumalite back panel & clear coat-Price
$1,550.00; Opt #2- Sandblasted gold leafed high
density urethane sign with alumalite back panel &
clear coat on letters-Price $1,500.00 Opt #3 Vinyl
lettered alumalite sign with clear coat-Price
$690.00
On motion by Mr. Lazorisak, seconded by Mrs. Riley
to replace the sign at the entrance of the Lake with
option #1 for the price of $1,550.00.
On motion by Mrs. Riley, seconded by Mr. Lazorisak
authorizing the Mayor to sign the proposal for a new
lake sign.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
Peggy Niece of Warren County Arts stated that this
is the tenth year that the Warren County Arts has
displayed their paintings in the Municipal Building.
She would like to have artists come to town on a
Sunday sometime in the summer and if possible to
have the Municipal Building open to the public for
their use. The Committee agreed this
would be a great idea. She will notify the Committee
when a date is announced.
Diane Hooper presented the Committee with the
newsletter. The Committee will review and comment at
tomorrows meeting.
The Committee reviewed the bill list and vouchers
and withheld the following bills:

The balance of the bills as listed on the January
2007 bill list was approved for payment on motion by
Mrs. Riley, seconded by Mr. Lazorisak.
Mr. Lazorisak asked the Clerk to send Phil Rosenberg
a letter stating that as of January 1, 2007 he will
no longer be named Recycling Coordinator. Also to
ask Vic Camporine, Warren County Recycling
Coordinator to attend our February workshop meeting
on
February 20, 2007 to discuss the recycling program.
On motion by Mr. Lazorisak, seconded by Mrs. Riley
to adjourn the meeting at 8:40
