SPECIAL MEETING
JULY 3, 2007
A special meeting of the Mayor and Committee of the
Township of Oxford was held on
July 3, 2007 in the Township Municipal Building, 11
Green Street, Oxford, New Jersey.
Mayor Lazorisak announced that the meeting had been
properly advertised in compliance with the OPMA of
1975 and called the meeting to order at 4:00 PM.
In attendance were Alex Lazorisak, Bonnie Riley, and
Sheila L. Oberly.
N. Angelo Accetturo was absent.
Mr. Lazorisak and Mrs. Riley interviewed two
candidates for the position of Tax
Collector-Karen Bartlett Lance and Mary Hyland.
The mayor stated that they were both qualified for
the position.
On motion by Mr. Lazorisak and seconded by Mrs.
Riley to hire Karen Lance to start
Monday, July 9, 2007 for the salary of $25,000
working the same hours as the previous Tax
Collector:
The hours being: Monday 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM and
Wednesday evening 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM.
The Mayor opened the meeting to the public.
There being no public comment, on motion by Mr.
Lazorisak and seconded by Mrs. Riley, the meeting
was adjourned at 4:20 PM.
