| I have noticed that many people view the topics of discussion, yet there are very few reponses. Our town is a small community and I would hope that we can all discuss these issues. If you view the forum on a regular basis please consider posting here or at least joining discussions. This site should be used to promote our town and all the activities that are held. This could help in communications between all residents and make town events better suited to everyone. |

| I agree the more people responding the more interesting it is.Its great to hear all points of view. When I first went on it was disappointing there was nothing on here-its getting better. Hopefully when the site is more well known there will be many voices heard |

I moved to Oxford in 2002 and never new we even had a web site until this year when someone I know came across it when looking for Tax info on the web for Oxford... I didn't even know there was a Lake!! It could be we don't have kids yet so no info comes to us through the school... I'm no marketing genius but I would have a BIG banner made with the web address and hang it on the side of the Fire Station that faces Route 31 or put near the center of town by the traffic light to get the word out... Since there is Police information on the website put the web address on the Police cars, like the back bumper or trunk... The State Police have there's there... On the side of the Town Garbage Trunk... It constant advertising� Just some thoughts or ideas...

I agree with cowboyfan....the easiest way to promote the website is to put it on the bumper of the police cars and emergency vehicles/city vehicles. Print it on tax/sewer bills or anything that is sent to homeowners and add that additional info can be provided on the cities website.
I just moved to Oxford(Spring Meadows) and I was aware of the website but only because I ran across a link when searching for info on the city I moved to. |
