If you are reading this and you have a special needs child in the Oxford school, our prayers are with you. We lived in Oxford for 8 wonderful years and then encountered the Central School. Due to the lack of a proper program for our child and the unwillingness of the school system to work wiith us we had to move to another school district. The good news is that our child is flourishing with a school system that cares about our child and not dollars spent on an addition. I know this sounds like sour grapes but we truly feel for families who cannot move and for the children that will not get what they need from this school. For those of you that have children with no special needs we are sure the school is doing well but there is an alarming population of special needs children that need help. As you go about your daily life and look at your children who are perfect give them a big hug and kiss and thank God for this wonderful gift.
If you find time give a thought to the child that needs help and........pray for the children...... |
