As a courtesy to all residents of Oxford Twp. The Oxford Police would like to remind everyone that local ordinance #77-B-2(a) provides that the owner, occupant, or tenant of any premises bordering any street in the Township, shall remove all snow, slush, sleet, or ice from any sidewalk.  Please do everything possible to make arrangements to keep your sidewalks clean.

If you have any questions feel free to contact the Oxford Police Department at (908) 453-4133, or stop in any weekday between 8:30 - 4:30 to pick up a copy of this ordinance.

 

The Oxford Twp. Police Department is made up of one administrator, and 4 officers.  Police headquarters is located on the lower level of the municipal building.

The Police department is staffed by a clerk weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.  Fingerprinting is done on the first Wednesday evening of each month between 4:30 PM and 8:00 PM call (908) 453-4133 for an appointment.
