PA woman cited for suspended license involved in MVA

Oxford Police are investigating a 2 vehicle accident which occurred on Rt. 31 and Axford Ave. on Tuesday. A 2001 Honda driven by Merrill W. Trabold of Belvidere was traveling South on Rt. 31 and attempted to turn onto Axford Ave. when his vehicle collided with a 1995 Chevrolet driven by Kimberly A. Crockford of Hawley Pa. Both drivers were taken to Warren Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Ms. Crockford was temporarily trapped in her vehicle and was extricated by members of the Washington EMS and the Oxford Fire Department. The Oxford EMS also assisted at the scene. Ms. Crockford was found to have a suspended NJ drivers license as well as a warrant out of Denville, NJ. Ms Crockford was placed under arrest on the warrant later that evening at the Oxford Police Station. She was released after posting bail. She was also issued a summons for driving while suspended. Lt. Charles Lilly is the investigating officer.
