    Oxford police arrested a Belvidere man and a Bloomsbury woman for trespassing at Oxford Furnace lake on Friday. Sgt. Kevin Racek was on routine patrol when he noticed an unoccupied vehicle parked at the lake. A short time later, while searching for the vehicle occupants, Sgt. Racek was approached by Daniel J Markulic of Belvidere and Branat M. Anderson of Bloomsbury. The two advised Sgt. Racek that they were just hanging out on the other side of the lake. Both were issued summonses for trespassing after hours and released pending court. Oxford Furnace Lake is closed from sunset to sunrise with the only exception being licensed fisherman. Those wishing to fish at the lake are permitted to do so 24 hours per day. A fishing license must be presented upon request.
