The Oxford Police Department would like to welcome two new members to its ranks effective 9/19/05. Christopher Malcolm was hired as a patrolman to replace Matthew Frauen who retired to pursue outside interests. Ptl. Malcolm was employed as a police officer with Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken for the past year. He is currently undergoing field training and will be working on his own effective 10/3/05. The department would also like to welcome Donna Lamonaco as its new clerk/matron. Donna is retired from the Hunterdon County Prosecutors Office where she worked in many areas including victim/witness assistant, secretary to the major crimes unit and assistant in the juvenile unit. Donna will undergo Matron training at the Morris County Police Academy in December. Donna was hired to replace clerk/matron Kait Farrell who left the department to take a position as clerk for the Independence Twp. Police Department. The police department would also like to announce changes in business hours for the police clerk. The new hours are Mon-Fri. from 9am-1pm. Anyone wishing to pick items up at the department after hours such as accident reports or firearms paperwork are asked to contact Donna and make arrangements for the items to be left for you when she leaves for the day. If arrangements are made ahead of time to pick an item up after 1pm, you may call the police department non emergency number at 689-1122 and ask that an officer meet you at HQ to arrange for pick up of your item. And as a reminder, the door to the police department is always open. Anyone with any questions or concerns may stop by the office or call and leave a message at 453-4133. Please leave your name and phone number and an officer will return your call as soon as possible. Messages left without proper identification cannot be returned. |
